Terms of Use
By using Falmivo you agree to these terms. If you disagree, stop using the app and delete local data.
1. The service
Falmivo provides tools to import or capture photos, manually box people, record names and sources, run roll call and source desks, create question cards, write answers back, and export on-device. The app is a recording tool only—identity, dates, and kinship are your judgments. It does not perform face recognition or automatic identity claims.
2. Eligibility and content rights
- You must have the right to label, annotate, and export the photos, avatars, and recordings you add.
- Obtain permission before recording someone else’s voice.
- Do not use the app for illegal, infringing, harassing, or unauthorized privacy-invasive activity.
3. Local-first and optional networking
Core data stays on device by default. Main features work without a stable network. Optional device-session restore, profile completion, and collection sync depend on your actions and connectivity. Cloud content may be delayed or unavailable; your local copy remains the day-to-day source of truth.
4. Free use
Naming, roll call, confirm loops, question cards, and export are free in the current version. There is no store, coins, subscription, or in-app purchase. Optional paid features, if ever added, will be disclosed separately.
5. Export and sharing
- Conflicting memories may coexist; review privacy before sharing.
- You are responsible for export copies and recipients. Exports exclude recordings by default.
- Files already shared are not affected by in-app deletion.
6. Intellectual property
The app software, brand, and UI design belong to the developer. You keep rights to your photos and oral notes. You grant only the limited processing needed to provide features on device, and—if you enable sync—the limited processing needed to store and restore them.
7. Disclaimer
The app is provided “as is.” We aim for stability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Protect against device failure, OS upgrades, mistakes, network issues, or third-party share channels with your own backup habits. Falmivo is not responsible for the correctness of labels you enter.
8. Termination
You may stop anytime and delete local data. We may limit service or remove related private cloud records for abuse, illegality, or material breach.
9. Updates
We may update these terms on this page. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.
